February 1-3 2010 CalConnect Mobile Calendaring Interoperability Test Event Irvine, California
The February 1-3 2010 CalConnect Interoperability Test Events of The Calendaring and Scheduling Consortium
will take place just before and in conjunction with Roundtable XVII, hosted by
the University of California at Irvine in Irvine, California.
The events will take place all day (from 0800-1800) on Monday and Tuesday, and from
0800 to 1200 noon on Wednesday. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks at breaks will
be served each day.
The Mobile Calendaring Interoperability Test Event will cover Mobile
device testing, primarily synchronization (ActiveSync and/or SyncML).
This will be based onthe Mobile Calendar Interoperability Test Suite document produced by CalConnect
CalConnect Mobile Calendaring
Test Suite V1.1.
This document defines a detailed set of test suites to test the
interoperability of calendar data exchange between mobile devices and/or
desktop clients via synchronization servers. As synchronization continues
to be a major pain point for many users of calendar tools (in particular
members of CalConnect) we feel it important to continue on-going testing
to improve overall interoperability.
