CalConnect Timezone Workshop Logistics

Location and Meeting Room

The Timezone Workshop will take place in Building, 35, Room 2615 ("Kalaloch") on the main Microsoft campus in Redmond, Washington. Please see Microsoft Redmond Campus or Main Campus Map. The meeting room is not in a secure area, so you will not need a visitor badge. However, you will need to complete a parking form with reception at Building 35.


Schedule

Breakfast will be served from 08:30 to 09:00. The meeting will begin at 09:00 and continue until 17:30, with morning and afternoon snacks and lunch at 12:30-13:30. A detailed schedule and agenda may be found on the vCard Workshop page.


Transportation

Airport Information: The Seattle Area is served by Sea-Tac International Airport. Microsoft is approximately 25 miles northeast of the airport in Redmond, Washington.

Ground Transportation: Information on rental cars and shuttles is available at Sea-Tac Ground Transportation.


Hotels:

There are a wide variety of hotels within a few miles of the Microsoft Campus in Redmond. The hotels shown below are a sampling of hotels closest to the Redmond Campus. However, none of the hotels listed are within comfortable walking distance. While some may offer a local shuttle to Microsoft, if you wish to rely upon such transportation it would be wise to delay booking your hotel until the final venues are identified.
